Yeah, I still hate what happened to the characters (and I still love poor sweet Myxir) established in the first to games, but Vatras has got the worst of it appearance-wise (See panel 1. Thank Google for the Michael Jackson reference pose.)
I mean, he had dark skin in Gothic 2, and he's white in Gothic 3? How could that have happened? I'd call it lack of interest on the developer's part were it any other developer than Piranha Bytes. :(
Anyway, watermages in G3... They're what now? Spiritual leaders of the desert people?
Yes, they are! Which is why we never again hear from their shadow army, aka the Ring of Water, since they don't need it anymore. It's never even mentioned again. Must have been a dream then... which still does not explain why Lares is back to being a thief and how he acquired a new hairstyle, complete with face a lifting. Oh and he now has the same voice actor as Lester... I hate it when that happens...

Anyway, I still like the game, but you just can't compare it to its great predecessors.

lol echt super comic!
Das letzte "Bild" ist echt genial geworden, super idee!
was man auch hätte erwähnen können sind die verunstalteten schattenläufer und blutfliegen...
aber echt schade, dass gothic 3 so ein schlechtes game geworden ist... hab die ersten drei teile (mit addon) geliebt und war total enttäuscht...
dabei ist gothic 3 (mit patch) gar kein so schlechtes game... nur eben kein gutes gothic mehr :-(
aber trotzdem sind Piranha bytes die besten entwickler! Ihr neues Spiel Risen ftw!

Na, der Comic sollte sich mehr auf die Handlung und Charaktere beschränken. Wenn ich da alles angeführt hätte, was an G3 merkwürdig ist, wäre ich ja heute noch nicht fertig :D

yup.
Auf das nächste Piranha Game freu ich mich.
Auf das was JoWood da mit G4 und dem Addon verzapft weniger. <.<

hast recht, was g4 und g3-addon betrifft, hab grad gelesn dass ein indischer entwickler (!) das addon entwickelt, dass kann ja was werden...
da zieh ich mir lieber nochmal den trailer zum PB-Spiel Risen rein!
